SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Single A (ages 11 & under)
Athletes of this stage need to develop coordination and balance. In addition, the young athlete must understand the basic needs of strength where power and speed will eventually meet. Our single A development class works to improve an athlete's understanding of movement in areas of speed, agility and quickness with its primary focus being control of movement. Athletes develop a foundation for their growth. Single A athletes are instructed in 60 minute sessions encompassing running techniques, change of direction and stability exercises and strength concepts.

Double A (ages 12-14)
Athletes have a better understanding of coordination and balance, but may lack in explosive movement patterns. Our double A development class works to coordinate the challenges of growth where height, weight and strength now play a different role. Joint integrity plays a bigger role in the prevention of injury. Athletes are introduced to weightlifting and plyometrics. Similar to the progressive nature of our warm-up and movement portions athletes learn the sequences of lifts to master the eccentric and concentric actions of muscle activation. Double A athletes are instructed in 60 minute sessions encompassing running techniques, change of direction and reactive exercises and preventative technical work assists with the strength and power demands. Options for 120 minute sessions encompass plyometric training and weightlifting instruction.

Triple A (ages 15-18)
Athletes understand the expectations of each level of play: club, high school, collegiate. Athletes usually understand the patterns of movement and may lack in reaction and explosiveness. Triple A athletes must fine tune their skills increasing running technique, lateral quickness and power production. Weightlifting and plyometrics are a large portion of skill development in addition to warm-up and movement portions. Olympic lift sequences become more challenging with combination lifts. Triple A athletes are instructed in 120 minute sessions encompassing running techniques, change of direction and reactive exercises with a greater emphasis on over-training principles with resistive and assisted equipment for acceleration and power. Preventative technical work is vital to help with joint integrity and the demands placed on the body during the strength and power phases of training.

Team Training (sport specific- all ages)
Team training is a great way for coaches to evaluate players away from the playing surface. Athletes develop agility and coordination in mixed performance training. Our programs focus to bring every athlete's level up a notch. Acceleration, lateral quickness, power, strength and reaction all attribute to better athleticism. ISC team training is specific to every team's needs. Each program is designed to target the team for overall player performance. Conditioning, speed, agility, preventative flexibility, plyometrics and weightlifting are all options within our team programs. We want the coach to focus on the X's and O's while we push the athlete to the next level of performance. The off-season begins now! Train smarter! Train better!

Adult Fitness (ages 15 & older)
Adult training is centered around health and wellness. Our programs focus on the key essentials to health and fitness: cardio-respiratory fitness, strength and flexibility Individuals in our programs will endure a variety of training measures including circuit training, agility and coordination exercises, myofascial release (self massage) and stretching, extensive core training and preventative techniques for balance and muscle strength. The dynamic of the class is a group format in one hour classes working with a coach each session. Cardio Boot Camps help with conditioning and overall toning. Strength, Stamina, and Technique is an alternative training class with methods based on functional strength where power and athleticism count. Our classes require no long term contracts. Simply show up, train, and leave feeling the results! High Intensity Machine Circuit- meant to get you in and out in 30 minutes. This training program targets every muscle group utilizing pre-exhaust methods to isolate and target specific muscle groups to improve tone and strength. Come join us for a 60 minute trial session and see what you are missing.

Youth Fitness (ages 11 & under)
Young children need exposure to movement to obtain valuable skills in their development. In our youth fitness classes, children play fun games, maneuver through obstacle courses, work with each other in relay races and cooperative exercises, perform fitness tests and most of all they learn the value of training for a healthier life. With the guidance of a coach in one hour sessions children become more agile and coordinated as they work on visual and auditory cues in a vast array of exercises and games meant to stimulate their senses and teach them to enjoy exercise.
